The English Language Learners (ELL) teacher supports all ELL students who are enrolled in regular education classes.The ELL teacher meets with students during scheduled blocks to provide instruction in English Language Development as well as Content Area Instruction. Individualized, as well as group instruction, enable ELL students to become proficient in reading, writing, listening and speaking while being fully immersed in the mainstream with their peers. Accommodations and modifications are made by content area teachers, as well as the ELL teacher, to ensure all ELL students have full access to the curriculum.
