School Council

The School Council is an advisory group to the Principal. This group is comprised of students, elected parents and appointed community members adults or a combination of parents and community members, and three teachers.  They meet 4-7 times a year, and their duties are to act as a sounding board/advisory group on specific things the principal wants feedback on. It usually includes the budget, the school improvement plan, test scores, new policies, Educational Opportunities proposals, class size, etc.  It is also a way to share information between the school and the community. Meetings are held in the Guidance conference room at the high school.
