Parents of Sophomores -

Last October, the sophomore class sat for the PLAN, which is a practice for the ACT, one of the two standardized tests colleges review during the admissions process.  The PLAN assessment provides useful information for your student’s career and educational planning and we would like to invite you to come to a meeting to review the results of this assessment.  This is a good opportunity for sophomores and their families to meet with their guidance counselor to talk about goals for after high school.   During the meeting we will develop a personalized plan for your student, including course selection, timelines for standardized testing, and career and college options. We invite you to contact your student’s Guidance Counselor directly by emailing them to schedule an appointment.  The meetings should take approximately one hour and can be scheduled during the student’s ICE Block.   We look forward to seeing you in the coming weeks.
