Ride Your Bike on May 19 -

posted May 16, 2017, 5:52 PM by Hilary Godin

The Sport & Event Management Class is sponsoring this Friday's effort to encourage people to ride their bike's - whether it be to school, work or around the neighborhood.  The proceeds of the event will be going to a fund in the memory of Warren Cowles, the DPW worker tragically killed this winter.

Chris Kervian and her students will be raising awareness of the event later this week through morning/afternoon announcements and by setting up a tent at LHS near the bike racks Friday morning.  The students in the S&E class will be handing out free granola bars, fruit, etc. to those who ride their bikes to school.

All S&E students will be completed with their morning responsibilities by the beginning of the school day and will be on time for morning classes.  The students in the class just wanted the faculty/staff to know about the morning event prior to it occurring.
